WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY? 

 

Hypnotherapy uses Hypnosis as an aid to resolve conflicts in the subconscious mind. What is Hypnosis you may say? Is this where the hypnotist gets me clucking like a chicken? Far from it !! Hypnosis is simply a relaxed state whereby your conscious mind is encouraged to 'switch off' using internal focus, so the subconscious mind can be accessed. Hypnosis is widely misunderstood, especially when for some people their only experience of Hypnosis is watching 'staged' shows whereby the Hypnotist appears to take complete control of a persons mind.

During your Hypnotherapy session with me you will be in complete control, you will be aware the whole time, and be able to remember every word. My job as the therapist is to guide you into Hypnosis, to give you the tools to make the changes in your subconscious mind that you need to make, and to support you in the process.

Kinetic Shift.

Kinetic Shift is a rapid type of therapy combining several different techniques to resolve Fears, Phobias, Anxiety, Weight Loss, Childhood and Past Trauma, Smoking, PTSD and much more. We all know that we can’t always express everything we want to verbally, so we use several other methods of communication and that is key to Kinetic Shift.
Kinetic shift can be used to ‘shift’ any repressed emotions, without the need to go back to the trauma and re-live the pain all over again. 

Kinetic shift can be used as a ‘stand alone’ treatment whereby only one session is needed, or it can be incorporated into a treatment plan for more deep routed issues.
